Classic Bakshi rotoscoping genius! It follows the imagery style of Moebius and the french Metal Hurlant magazine very well. While poorly written and corny in some parts it's visual qualities merged with the classic rock soundtrack invoke some great emotion.
One of the scariest zombie encounters I've enjoyed is in this movie.
