4 stars, mainly for the "Captain Sternn" episode which was totally hilarious. ^^ (the german dub is probably even a tad better).
It's like an animated version of the magazine by the same name. I liked the experimentation with different styles, matching the artwork of the most prominent "Heavy Metal" artists.
