I can hardly understand why this film got so bad reviews when it came out. True, it is too long, slow, and some parts I could do completely without, but the shooting is amazing, and the movie has a hypnotizing quality to it.
The soundtrack IS awful ,I admit. Don't rely on the movie for historical perciseness, too, but id does show the injustice of life in the west at the time.
