Review of Heavenly Creatures (1994) by Rajneel S — 14 Mar 2008
Creepy, stylish and stunningly rendered, this fantastical depiction of a true murder story is arguably director Peter Jackson's finest work to date. The screenplay boasts a deserved Academy Award nomination and the directing and acting is marvelous to behold.
The final scene depicting the real-time murder is so horrific it's almost unwatchable. Fantastic filmmaking.
