Review of Heavenly Creatures (1994) by Jesse P — 19 Jan 2011
Isn't for naught that this is often hailed as Peter Jackson's best film (though I'll personally attribute that honor to Dead Alive, if only for my unyielding loyalty to the indie-horror crowd).
Heavenly Creatures will absolutely astound you, and in the last few minutes have you absolutely by the throat, tightening and tightening. Highly recommended from this bored film geek.
