Review of Heavenly Creatures (1994) by Christian B — 23 Nov 2011
Heavenly Bones: -.
It's Chesterton, if Chesterton, in enjoying the world's lunacy, were to hide himself away in some sort of inner world, which no-one's love could penetrate without his will. It's a feverish film experience; compelling because its characters' relationships are at once sacred for their love of each other, and obscene for their loathing of all else.
