Review of Heat (1995) by Jon C — 18 Apr 2013
Heat is a fantastic crime saga filled with layers that can't be appreciated all at once. Director Michael Mann takes you inside the life of both criminals and cops with stunning reality because of his intricate attention to detail.
Everything in the movie, acting, cinematography, score and writing is extraordinary. During the course of Heat you'll feel a connection to and empathize with the characters on both sides of the law as they grow and change before your eyes.
Heat is a masterpiece of modern cinema and should not be missed.
