Review of Heat (1995) by Andrew D — 28 Jul 2014
At times Heat can be slow, but the movie is somewhat of a classic because of the Pacino/DeNiro factor (which isn't really that impressive in the movie) and also because of Michael Mann's tight script and tense direction.
It has some amazing scenes that make it stand out, especially a bank heist resulting in a shootout in the street. It's an action classic for the wrong reasons, but it's still really freaking good.
