Hearts and Minds is a heart wrenching documentary. The interviews cover a wide range of people- from those that supported the Vietnam war, to the brainwashed soldiers, to the Vietnamese that suffered. This movie shows the profound ways that americans tampered with the lives of the Vietnamese and the impact this had on their own lives.

We are shown the hurt of the poor and the soldiers and how the higher class citizens were, for a large part undaunted.
