Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1955) by Bill W — 22 Dec 2007
This is one of Clint Eastwood's more heavyhanded affairs, and it's too cartoonish to take seriously. An hour and a half of cliche turning-rag-tag-unit-into-accomplished-soldiers (Marines in this case) gives way to a supremely anticlimactic invasion of Grenada.
The profanity is amusing, however.
