Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Christopher J — 22 Mar 2008
A surprising film, different from what I was expecting (and I had a bit much hype which is why my rating for it is kind of low), but an interesting story about living in the corporate ladder, about mistaken identity leading to hero worship, and the inevitable consequences for a man who cannot love himself.
A pretty damn good indie movie, feeling like something from 10 years ago, rather than today. And that's a good thing, given how so many low-budget films suck nowadays....
