Unchallenging role, but challenging performance for Christian Slater! Not much about office politics in the corporate world, it's more of a sad story about a man's salvation of himself and others.

In fact, the lack of effort on the politics part makes the character insanely "insane", which is different from a character of similar movies who would usually still have some sort of connection with normality.
