Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Richard F — 24 Jun 2008
Slater is briliant in this film. I didn't even know he could act! It's a pity though, because the film is aweful.
It started intriguingly, but soon turned to mush. It didn't seem to have any direction whatsoever, and just made iteslf up as it went along. Even then, it reverted back to the 'and it was all a dream' cliche. Terrible!
You'd be better off seeing Falling Down, if you like this kind of thing.
