Review of Haywire (2011) by Christopher L — 06 Jan 2013
Gina Caranno is a girl you don't want to Mess with. The MMA superstar isn't much of an actress but, she can throw a punch. Steven Soderbergh latest film Haywire doesn't help him out do much.
The movies is about a Girl name Mallory Kane played by Gina Carano who works for a private security who is ends up double cross after saving a Chinese journalist. now she must run and fight to stay alive and find out who left her for dead.
This film has no style. For a film that suppose to be a spy film there isn't much dialogue from the characters. The conversations were very brief and frankly all you really see is Mallory Kate (Gina Carano) running all time.
If there's is one bright spot in his film is The fight sequence. Both Gina and the other actors make the fight look really. They really know how to take a punch and how to give a punch. In the end it wasn't enough to save this film.
This movie is false advertise and unless you want to see Gina Carano show her MMA moves then its's not worth your time.
