This movie is so quiet and sobering that it basically shines a flashlight on Carano's flat acting and mistimed faces. She smirks when she should be stoic and is stoic when she should be wry and crafty.
Most awkward rookie serial killer. The only thing that gets you through this movie are her deftly fought action scenes of which I could count on probably only one hand. To her credit, her forceful blows are the most painful looking and convincing of any woman I've ever seen on a Hollywood screen.
