Review of Haywire (2011) by Brian B — 20 Apr 2016
Haywire really did something well, and that is the fight scenes. There is no music in the fight scenes, so they feel really real, like their hitting eachother for real or it looked like it wasn't choreographed, and that was one of the things I absolutely loved.
Another thing I liked was the cast, it was a strong and well-acted cast, the music in the movie felt like it was a true spy movie, plus it matched with the places the characters were in like London or Barcelona.
The actress, Gina Carano, whats interesting about her is that she is a real fighter, so it looked like she didn't needed the training because she was already prepared. To be honest, Haywire is a very calm action-thriller, with amazing music, intense and real fight scenes, a good cast and it totally makes this spy movie feel like a real spy movie, mostly because of the music, still really cool movie.
