Review of Haywire (2011) by Graeme W — 13 Apr 2013
This movie was poorly made. Despite the money which appears to have been spent to produce it and to hire several Hollywood A-listers, there is nothing to recommend this. It lacks narrative coherence and artistic credibility.
Gina Carano can certainly fight but this is in no means a sufficient reason for this film to ever have been made, or at least to have been made in the very poor way it has been. It feels like the script was written by a screenwriter with chronic ADHD, or perhaps the failure was in the interpretation of the script to the screen. Better to spend a night in front of the TV than watch this tripe.
