Review of Haven (2001) by Laira R — 21 Oct 2007
A strange curiosity this; a movie that doesn't introduce it's main star until 25 minutes in after plodding along with a side story involving Bill Paxton and money laundering.
Some interesting scenes make this watchable, but Haven never really makes the most of it's spectacular location nor full convinces of it's many sub-plots.
You get the feeling whilst watching Haven, that all concerned signed on for a 2 month shoot in the Caymans islands.
