Review of Hatchet II (2010) by Daniel B — 10 Feb 2011

This film was fun, but not as good as the original. It felt long, mostly due to the fact that all the good shit happens in the last 25 minutes of the film... There is alot of set up, but I must say the cast is pretty good and the addition of Danielle Harris was a good choice.

The thing that made it enjoyable for me during the slow parts was listening to Tony Todd's performance, which was really cool. The gore is over the top and I appreciate them NOT using digital effects, but rather sticking to real make up effects and props.

Definitely worth checking out, especially with friends.
