Hatchet is a decent slightly low budget slasher film....The special effects are perfectly done and they result truly grotesque....The violence is pretty bloody and brutal... director Adam Green achieved a very good atmosphere on this movie and the death scenes are very original and will leave you thinking.
... All in all this is really a movie that's more meant for entertainment and it will definitely entertain you......
