Review of Hatchet (2006) by Alex B — 18 May 2008

Okay so there's a bit of mis-advertising. This isn't a horror film as much as it's a comedy. This film is a very loving homage to 80's horror films and if you even sorta enjoy films like Friday the 13th, or Sleep Away camp. Then this should be a must see, you'll get a total kick out of this.

It should be noted the first 15-20 mins are a bit slow moving, introducing the characters and getting to know them. But once a character racks himself in the balls and gets bitten by an aligator (I kid you not) it's a none stop blast of a film.
