Review of Hatchet (2006) by Dave C — 06 Feb 2009
This movie was a joke....a very unfunny one at that. This movie consists of some semi-recognizable actors giving crummy performances. I get that it's supposed to be over the top and I get that it's supposed to be comical.
In the end, it was just kinda dull. It's supposed to be a mix of scary and funny, but it didn't really accomplish either. It mostly consists of body parts being ripped off and cut aways to blood splashing on trees.
It basically makes even the worst Friday The 13th (Jason X, in my opinion) look Oscar-worthy . Bottom line: this movie is lame!
