Review of Hatchet (2006) by Nicholas D — 07 May 2012
The elements that Adam Green is trying to imply don't really make Hatchet stand out very well, even for genre fans. The concept is recycled but the attention to detail is very evident. Sure it has over the top gore and bad acting, and I get that they are attempting to channel the slasher film of yesteryear, but it tends to fall flat.
