Review of Hatchet (2006) by Rodney E — 06 Feb 2013

Hatchet feels like the classic horror of yesteryear when things weren't so watered down and neutered to appeal to teen audiences. Tons of inventive and gore filled kills to some suspense brought on my gators.

My only gripe is that the music was weak at times and the script was a little eh..but the tone of this was really cool and I would like to rate this higher but am dismayed by a sequel, which may or may not be good, we'll have to see.

But that is just a complaint as this should stand on its own and have an ending like it has without worrying about a sequel..But that's just me and this was never the less a cool send up of horror movies.
