For the first 3/4 of the film I was asking myself if a documentary was even necessary for this material. It was interesting with decent anecdotes, but it didn't seem to have a strong point. It's the last 1/4 of the movie that makes it all come together.
You'll need to like football to enjoy the movie in my opinion.
