Review of Hart's War (2002) by Becca E — 28 Sep 2009
Honestly this wasn't what I was expecting in the slightest. I knew it was going to involve WWII and prisoners of war but beyond that my impression of the movie was quite different. What I got wasn't bad but it wasn't the greatest.
It was a bit long and a bit overdrawn at times. It begins like a POW camp would be and prisoners and then somehow things are all good and they are able to do all these things that real POWs would have never been able to do.
There were some liberties and freedoms that were aloud at German POW camps but not that much. Things weren't that clean and full. The second half of the movie when the trial began was very unrealistic for a POW camp and the way things really were.
