I've rated this film high primarily because once again,I am blown away by Christian Bale's remarkable acting ability. The plot and development are worthy of the really bad reviews-but Bale made it impossible for me not to watch the whole film.
I thought he was amazing in Empire of the Sun and have tried to see everything he has done since. Truly a very good actor.
