Review of Harsh Times (2005) by Remi L — 25 Dec 2008
This movie is a little underrated, I think. Christian Bale gave a great performance. The "hip" slang in the film felt a little bit forced at times; the movie didn't always feel realistic to me, but it did at times, and I have known people who do the whole crusing around in the car thing. And because of that, there were times that I could relate to it through assoiations with certain people, even though that's not my style.
Not a great movie, but a pretty good and well-made one.
