I wasn't that fond of the story and of how it developed. The movie had some funny moments and action scenes, but the story wasn't intriguing. It got better towards the end though, with more action and some cool twisted scenes.
The reason for my high rating is because of Christian Bale. His performance was beyond words! I know he is a very talented actor and in Harsh Times he played that twisted, psychotic character perfectly. Freddy Rodriguez performed well too, but Christian Bale ruled this movie.
