Review of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) by Jenni B — 30 Nov 2012

I really enjoyed the movie and I'll definitely watch it again. I'm not sure if I agree it's the best movie so far. I have a hard time choosing between the movies because I know which story is my favorite and that movie was a complete bust in my opinion.

However, with that said, I think Daniel Radcliffe was great. His portrayal of Harry Potter in this movie was dead on. I loved the romance scenes and awkwardness between Ron and Hermione as well as Harry and Ginny.

I do wish that Harry and Ginny's time together would've been a little more like the book, but it's okay. I'm not happy with the made up scene during Christmas at the Burrow and I didn't like how the ending was too neat.

Other than that, though, it's a pretty good rendition of the book and makes me excited for the final two.
