Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by Nicholas F — 14 Oct 2013

The epic ending to an era. For ten years and eight movies, I have waited for this cinematic masterpiece and the wait was well worth it. Deathly Hallows Part 2 truly captures the essence that is Harry Potter.

The action and visual effects are beyond incredible and we are kept on the edge of seats the entire time. Each character has at least one moment where they can shine. The final and long awaited battle between Harry and Voldemort is extremely intense and heart stopping.

I don't think I breathed once during that scene. Ever since Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter has been a huge part of my life, and I might sound very nerdy, but the best part of my life so far was watching as Harry realized he could end Voldemort's tyranny once and for all and he cast that golden wall of energy that caused Voldemort's killing curse to rebound upon him.

There will never be another movie series like Harry Potter and there will never be another finale movie like this one here. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is by far my absolute favorite movie and nothing will ever take it's place.

Let the magic continue to endure even though the series has come to an end.
