Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by George E — 17 Dec 2014
It had to end sometime, but it sure as hell went out with a bang. What an unbelievable ride it's been. Books are almost always supposed to be better than their later film counterparts but you could make a pretty compelling case that these movies can go toe to toe with their original literature any day of the week.
People generally remember films and their franchises by the endings considering its the last thing they see, and if this is truly the end of Hogwarts and the world of magic in which it exists, I think I can be content with it.
If you grew up with the books and the movies, you will not be disappointed.
