Review of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) by Dan H — 24 Apr 2014
It's got some of the more memorable moments in the franchise, it's pretty dark but still has a magical quality to it, the sets and environments are gorgeous, and the main creature in this one (the Basilisk) is probably my favorite one in the whole franchise.
Hogwarts is as beautiful as ever, and the Chamber of Secrets is mysterious, dark, and cool. It's a great, memorable film that only becomes more poignant and important when you have seen all the other films and realize how this one started laying the bricks that would connect directly into other important and vital elements of the other films.
Chamber of Secrets is one of the shining gems of the Potter franchise, and it goes without saying that it comes highly recommended.
