Well, I must admit I was eager to see caine going ape shit on this movie, shooting punk kids and shit, but this movie it's pretty average; it's your old revenge film, also it's too slow for it's own good like I felt the first forty five minutes were eternal.
.. BUT, it is caine's excellent (as always) performance that drives this movie and make it work, if it weren't for him it would have blown... It didn't quite reached my expectations, so after seeing this I went and popped old death wish on the dvd and watched it for like the 20th time .
... Sorry caine but charles bronson it's still the man.
