Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Darren J — 28 Aug 2012
After this film I was shocked, wowed and disturbed. Young's piece is grippingly real. It really demonstrates just what society has come to. The the way it was shot (the violence and the scenes where Caine is looking over the youth) is just so genuine, it seems as if you were there & Mr.
Caine, where do I start? He was ridiculous, his emotions, everything! It was like he was actually involved in this. Caine is usually good but not this good. I loved his character. The dialogue is very good, and Gary Young should be proud of his work.
