Review of Harry Brown (2009) by James Edward M — 21 Apr 2013
Definitely has shades of "Gran Torino" in this, but Caine is sufficiently good to avoid too many comparisons. This is not your usual vengeance movie, Michael Caine is the eponymous resident of a gang-affected housing estate. Nobody seems to be able to do anything to stop the violence.
All in all, a very realistic and modern movie which will keep you hooked until the end.
