Review of Harlan County U.S.A. (1977) by James H — 16 Feb 2004
This was the best documentary that I have seen so far. The filmmaker actually lived with her subjects for about 4 years. She livd in their conditions. and hung out with the people. I think thats so cool.
By doing this, she was able to capture the real lives of the miners and their family. its definately worth watching. However, the ending is forced upon us.
