Richard Stanley's cult British sci-fi flick finally comes to DVD! Made for under £1m it's an amazing achievement for such an ambitious post-apocalyptic horror, with Stanley's unique vision and style shining through.

His crew make the most of the budgetary limitations, with most of the action taking place in one location save for the wrap-around scenes which were shot in Morocco. Loosely influenced on a 2000AD comic strip, this is a metal killling machine gone mad, as the MARK13 regenerates itself in Jill's flat.

It's nasty, full of weird interesting characters and boasts one of the best movie soundtracks courtesy of Simon Boswell. Unmissable.
