Basically, if you're an avid movie goer and were thinking of analyzing this films as if it were American Beauty or Silver Linings Playbook, you shouldn't see this film. If you are a POV shooter game enthusiast and are looking for a wild right, here you go.

Hardcore Henry is every gamers dream movie. It's the plot line of a game without the the actual gameplay. Seeing on the big screen is the only way to do it. You'll find your feet curling at the sight of the 1st person action.

If you're like me you might even feel as if you're part of the action. The main character also doesn't speak the entire film! Thanks to this, it made the film even more interactive to the audience.

Stating the obvious, if you really get into it and don't think about the plot too much, you almost feel as if you are the main character and can emphasize with his actions. The director, Ilya Naishuller, did a fantastic job with the shots during the film.

From scene to scene, the transitions were very well done. Even though the film moves quickly, you never feel as if it's moving too slow or fast with the locations they filmed. The only downside with a project such as this was the budget.

The budget being as low as I assume, they probably didn't have the proper resources to make this film as great as it could of been. I personally think the 1st person aspect could possibly change the way films are created.

If the same director, given another chance, with a bigger budget, 1st person films could be the new color films of the 60's.
