Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Dokyong T — 19 May 2016

- Truly one of the most unique theatrical experience I have EVER had. Hardcore Henry without a doubt delivered, BIG time. From the very beginning it hit HARD with a brilliant story line that only developed more and more as each amazing scene came and went.

It was really more like a real life roller coaster ride with the out of this world special effects that were portrayed through the eyes of the protagonist as we viewed the entire film in the genius lenses of first person perspective.

With a movie being shot like this it is literally like a video game, more closely like callofduty. The outstanding story line which was simple in the best way possible had a remarkable first twist that was immediately introduced to the audience and it had us all fascinated and fully engaged as the extremely gruesome and gorery action intensified and became overly bloody as the movie carried on.

Throughout the duration I was on the edge of my seat as my heart was beating out of my chest. The plot was SO immensely exhilarating I was trying my hardest not to blink so that I wouldn't miss a single thing.

Yes! It was seriously THAT good. A "Must See" for EVERYBODY! Regardless of the over the top violence, the actual movie experience is above and beyond anything I have had the privilege of seeing and it is definitely worth the potential aggressive problems that may arise in the future.

There is much more than just reckless and pure awesome to the MAX death surrounding this one of a kind film. The concept had substance in it that involved the viewers in the BIG screen journey. There was a purpose behind the unstoppable adventure and with a super hero feel, you felt invincible as a wide range plethora of action packed bombardment was constantly thrown at you.

There was a super hero feel to it, more specifically a Deadpooly feel. In fact the opening credits shot was literally exactly just like that of Deadpool. The similarities don't just end there. The slight humor and in your face blood splattering kills that were presented was also on the same page.

All in all it was point blank entertaining as fuck! It had you glued in from start to finish and with the inclusion of a second final twist at the end, everything came full circle to earn this film "4 Stars" for its brave theatrical decision for the production and for the immaculate execution which surrounded everything from plot, theme, action, actors, concept and pure bad assery! Truly a magnificent ride that left you with massive chills all over your entire body and a adrenaline filled sensation that had you feigning for much more.

In my opinion there should be a line up of films eagerly waiting to shot in this method because it was a HUGE success. It is not just seeing a movie, it is literally experiencing a movie and that is ALL the freaking way terrific! YEAH!
