Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Jordan S — 05 Jun 2016
Hardcore Henry is an extremely crazy adventure into the first person view of Henry, a man who wakes up with no knowledge of his past life except for his wife. After a series of events, Henry is thrust into the world with nothing but a phone and a 9mm.
This makes for a very unique experience as far as action films go but struggles to do anything with it's perspective other than abuse it until it becomes stale after around 60 minutes in it's hour and a half run time.
The story is incredibly fast and can be flat in certain scenes. It's certainly not for everyone and I can only recommend it to those who want to try something new or enjoy first person shooters.
