Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Alexmann — 27 Jul 2016
This movie is strange at times, even incomprehensible- yet the action and characters prevail. The "Jimmy" character is perhaps the best character in any action movie ever (really he is like 10 characters).
Henry is also great because through the first person perspective you see his actions in a new way. This has the effect of feeling like you are the character. The action pieces are AMAZING, I have never seen anything better.
All in all this is a FANTASTIC action movie- maybe even the best action movie ever (in terms of action sequences, not plot). Even if the plot is rather weak the action is SOOOO GOOD that it makes up for it.
