Review of Hard To Kill (1992) by Chris M — 16 May 2010
YES!!! One of the most poorly acted, directed, and especially edited, films I have ever seen. Yet, it's one of those films that are so bad they're good! In a key chase sequence, Seagal's character manages to not only change his pants during it, but also proves that he's so hard to kill that he even manages to switch the position of the driver's seat whilst getting shot at! Amazing! Seagal's training sequences are also so fantastically realised that...in fact no, he looks like your dad, dancing drunk at a wedding with his pants at his ankles whilst simultaneously fighting a blow-up doll in all of them. It also includes some of the most hysterically and unintentionally hilarious dialogue/one-liners of all-time.
SAMPLE:
Senator Trent: "...and you can take that to the bank!".
Mason Storm: "I'm gonna take you to the bank Senator Trent *longest pause in history* - THE BLOOD BANK!".
It really doesn't get any better...or worse.
