Something didn't seem right with Hard Candy. The performances were strong and the interaction between the characters was quite convincing. But hell not realistic, the fact that a teenage girl was able to overpower and castrate a grown man was way unbelievable.
The movie twisted the audience's perception of what they expect to be victim, for me the teenage girl was in every way as crazy and weird as the man she tortured. I had no idea what the intention of the director was.
After I finished watching this garbage I wasn't just disappointed and disgusted, I was furious that I actually wasted my time watching this.However, one credit to its visual style, but even so I'd rather watch some horrors instead of watching some pedophile nonsense, and unexplained threats and guilty.
TRASH.....GRRRR.
