Review of Hard Candy (2005) by Dr. F P — 24 Nov 2013

This was intense and sometimes unsettling viewing that was very gripping. I felt Ellen Page was very natural in her role and I thought Patrick Wilson played his well too. At the beginning I picked a side, naturally, towards the end that became more ambiguous.

There is a lot of guessing, and still after the credits roll I am wondering about the life of Hayley, who she is, how did she get to where she is now. There are certain things here that seem a little more unbelievable but overall I am happy to have seen this.

..it was an interesting time.
