After chatting for 3 weeks in a chat room, a 14 year old girl and 32 year old photographer meet in real life. Suspecting he is a pedophile, she mentally and physically tortures him.
"Hard Candy" is well-acted and directed but very difficult to watch. The cat-and-mouse game between Haley and Jeff makes the movie entertaining, and it's never gory or bloody. Also, the ambiguity of who is really the antagonist and protagonist makes the movie even more disturbing.
