Full of over-the-top ridiculous gunfights which set the standard for action movies for about 10 years. No real depth to the film at all, but full of elaborate, superman-style scenes. If you like John Woo movies, or you're a huge action fan, it's worth going out of your way to see.
Otherwise, not much substance.
