Review of Hard Boiled (1992) by Sarfaraz A — 24 May 2011
Hard-Boiled directed by John Woo, starring Chow Yun-fat, and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai.
This film has hit me quite the hardest. I had watched IN THE LINE OF DUTY 4 in 1990, when I was just 9 years old, first at Cinema, then at home so much in those days, that today I remember every dialogue of the film clearly, and even slightest of frames' objects as well as how the music was going to play then at particular scenes, that is how I have been huge fan of IN THE LINE OF DUTY 4, probably the best from Hong Kong Film Industry.
This time Hard-Boiled, though I watched it too late, but not too late, I reckon had I watched this film then, I might as well have had same notion about this film as I've had about In The Line of Duty 4. This is great flick, marvelous cinematography work as well as directorial-efforts from Woo. Each scene carries dramatic and heart-pounding sensations.
