Review of Hard Boiled (1992) by Luis G — 22 Oct 2011
To be honest I was fairly disappointed after watching this film, I think I understand its cult appeal but I can't understand its rating. Its not a great film in many aspects, the story is tedious told and the dialogue is loss in translation. All in all its fairly kitsch, I wouldnt really reccommend it to anyone.
But, the action scenes are stunningly awesome, its pretty hard to describe. It is manic, funny, gun-blazing, cool and I think though I would say this film is worth the viewing. I would implore those who love action flicks and those who are interested in filming or coordinating action scenes this film is a landmark.
