Review of Harakiri (1962) by Andreas L — 13 Sep 2007
A simply breathtaking film focusing on samurai codes of honour. A tragic story of society's hypocricy in protecting these values. The great moral drama carries an great build-up to the dramatic and explosive ending.
One of the best Japanese movies ever made and one of the best films ever made period.
